Unicorns may be elusive mythical creatures, but the fun at Gay Bingo is very real. This marquee fundraiser for Palmetto Community Care (formerly Lowcountry AIDS Services) is back on Thursday, Aug. 16 featuring hostess Patti O’Furniture, a costume contest and more glitter than a Cher concert. Presented by Avita Pharmacy, Gay Bingo is 6-10 p.m. Aug. 16 at Memminger Auditorium, 56 Beaufain St. in Charleston. Tickets are sale now at www.CharlestonGayBingo.org. This year’s theme is Rainbow, Unicorns & Glitter. /Palmetto Community Care
