Jay proudly considers himself “Northern by birth, Southern by choice”, having moved to the Lowcountry from Ohio as a teenager. Jay graduated from Goose Creek High, where he met his lovely wife. Together they raised their amazing son and daughter, and recently built a home in Summerville.

In addition to being an Army veteran and radio personality, Jay is also an actor. You can see him in feature films like ‘Red Notice’ and ‘The Menu’ as well as the locally filmed ‘Outer Banks’ on Netflix, and ‘American Detective’ on Oxygen. He was even Peyton Manning’s body double for a series of Super Bowl commercials.

When he’s not on your radio, tv, or movie screen – Jay can often be found with a saw or drill in-hand while getting into some pretty serious DIY projects!

Catch Jay on Mix 95.9 every weekday morning from 6-10 AM and Saturdays from 10 AM to 3 PM. Follow Jay on Instagram and Facebook.
