Meet Mix 95.9’s newest on-air personality, Ellison Harley!

Ellison Harley, the charismatic host of Saturday nights on Mix 95.9, also holds the role of “Mr. 843 Deals,” acting as host and videographer of the local deals program running across all six Charleston Radio Group stations. Born and raised in Mount Pleasant, Ellison’s roots run deep in the community. His journey began at Charleston County School of the Arts, where he immersed himself in music, mastering the baritone saxophone and performing with both the concert and jazz bands.

Ellison then pursued Broadcast Journalism at The University of South Carolina, during which time, he served as an assistant video coordinator for the football team and the esteemed 2017 National Champion women’s basketball team.

Ellison’s passion for radio ignited early on, as he engaged with radio stations as a guest DJ and even had the privilege of shadowing the popular Mix 95.9 morning show, 2 Girls & a Guy.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Ellison can be found at events around the Lowcountry with his fiancé Devon and their pup Dakota or indulging in rounds of golf, culinary explorations and watching his favorite professional and college sports teams.
