There’s a new Podcast dedicated to military families which has been put together with the South Carolina National Guard. “Family Guidons” is hosted by Cathy Bridgers, Michelle Matheny and Charlotte Stilwell, each who is a military spouse. The podcast is designed to give military spouses a place to share their stories and insights through open and supportive conversations. With the experience these three women bring, the hope is to open dialogue with other families and add to the community of assistance within the military. Each discussed some of the unique challenges they personally faced, and military families in general face, and also shared the best, positive things that come with being a military spouse. Among the subjects they intended to discuss are deployments, state activations, and daily life in the military. The trio is also encouraging listeners of the Podcast to share their stories and suggest topics. The hosts explained why the Podcast is named Family Guidons, how people can listen to the Podcast and how often they will be creating new episodes.
