Celebrate Earth Day at the Charleston County Recycling Center Open House

Earth Day always falls on April 22. This year, Earth Day continues for 5 days when Charleston County Environmental Management celebrates.

Friday, Aug. 27, to celebrate Earth Day, Charleston County will host a Recycling Center open house. From 9 AM to 12 PM, you’re invited to tour the facility at 8099 Palmetto Commerce Parkway in Charleston.

Take the tour and get all your recycling questions answered. Charleston County residents can also take advantage of free document shredding during the open house. Plus, if you bring plastic bags to recycle, you’ll receive a free reusable tote.
