Celebrating Foster Families
National Foster Care Month

May is the month to celebrate the essential role of foster care and the people who step up to become loving providers for children who need love and guidance. Across our nation, over 400,000 children are in the care of foster families, experiencing not only shelter but love, understanding, compassion and stability in a crucial moment in their growth and development. However, the number of children and youth far exceeds the number of foster families that are willing to take them in.

This May, help improve the life of a child by signing up to become a foster parent. Showing a child compassion and support aids the National Youth Advocate Program in their mission to provide children with loving and nurturing foster families.
