Register Today for the Annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer
Saturday, Oct. 4 | Riverfront Park – North Charleston

Every year, roughly 32% of cancer diagnoses in women is breast cancer. Together, we can bring that number down to zero! Every step you take brings us closer to a cancer-free world.

The American Cancer Society will be hosting its annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer event, presented by Coldwell Banker Realty, here in Charleston on Oct. 4! This event promotes breast cancer awareness and commemorates the lives of the newly diagnosed, the survivors, and those we have lost in the community. It’s a celebration of courage and hope, uniting communities and raising funds for breast cancer research.

The event includes a survivor VIP lounge, a kid’s fun zone, free vendor giveaways, and a 1-hour survivor/caregiver celebration just before the walk begins. Dogs are welcome, and there will be a tutu/costume contest after the walk! Attendees and walkers (and dogs!) are encouraged to wear pink in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Making Strides will open the gates at Riverfront Park at 8:30 AM and the walk begins at 10 AM. The community is encouraged to come participate in the walk to show support for breast cancer patients and cancer research. Sign-up for individuals, teams or companies is open now!

If you can’t participate but would still like to help in the fight against cancer, you can donate here!
