LOWVELO Returns to the Lowcountry Nov. 7
Saturday, Nov. 7 | Brittlebank Park & Isle of Palms

Every year in late autumn, LOWVELO emerges as one of the Lowcountry’s biggest cycling and fundraising events. It’s a bike ride for all ages, raising money to support the MUSC Hollings Cancer Center’s continued research efforts, and honoring loved ones affected by cancer. LOWVELO seeks to break last year’s numbers. In 2025, a total of 1,640 participants in 139 teams came out to ride and raised a grand total of $2.18 million – with all proceeds benefitting the MUSC Hollings Cancer Center.

This year, you can help those numbers grow by participating in one of the best bike rides in the Lowcountry. You can sign up freely as a participant or a team and choose from one of five routes based on distance and personal fitness level. All ages can participate in the 7-mile and 14-mile rides, ages 14 and up for the 23-mile and 50-mile rides, and ages 16 and up for the 80-mile ride. Children under 18 must register with and be accompanied by a parent or guardian. The 7- and 14-mile rides will begin and end on the Isle of Palms, while the 23-, 50-, and 80-mile rides start at Brittlebank Park and end on the IOP.

Here is your chance to make a difference. Register to ride today or get more information about the ride by visiting the LOWVELO website.
