Plunging for a Purpose! Chillin’ for a Cause! Freezin’ for a Reason!

Whatever you want to call it, the 2026 Polar Plunge is coming!   The MPPD and Isle of Palms Police Department are partnering with South Carolina Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics to raise money and awareness for Special Olympics South Carolina athletes.

Saturday, February 28th at the Windjammer on Isle of Palms, be a part of the 2026 Polar Plunge.   Starting at 11 that morning, it’s a day of music, a costume contest, good times, and most importantly, the Polar Plunge into the ocean at 12:30 p.m.!
