Honor Ariel Elaine Morgan & Raise Awareness of Senseless Gun Violence

On Saturday, June 7, 2014, Ariel Elaine Morgan was shot to death in a senseless act of gun violence at a Block Party in the Longridge area of Moncks Corner. Her killer has still not been found.
A 10-year remembrance for her will be held at Stratford High School in Goose Creek on Saturday afternoon, June 8 from 1 to 5:30 PM. This free event, hosted by Star 99.7’s Savannah J, is open for all to attend, and will include speakers, entertainment, vendors, food trucks and more.
The Ariel Elaine Morgan Memorial Fund has been established to assist in funding the Ariel Elaine Morgan Scholarship that was established at Francis Marion University on Oct. 23, 2023. Information on the fund, and the opportunity to donate will be available at the event.
