The Charleston Farmers Market has received some special acknowledgement.
The city announced this week that the market was recognized in the “Best of South Carolina” awards for the produce markets and local farms category for 2025.
The award is part of the guidetosouthcarolina.com’s annual publication.
“This honor reflects the incredible vendors, farmers, and artisans who make the market such a beloved tradition — and the loyal shoppers who support them week after week,” the city said in a newsletter sent out to subscribers this week.
