October 26: Charleston Beer Week, Operation Heal*arious, & Charleston Mimosa Festival


 

Charleston Beer Week kicks off Oct. 27

Now in its 10th year, Charleston Beer Week (CBW), held Oct. 27 through Nov. 5, features 30-plus events, from oyster roasts to Halloween parties.

 

Operation Heal*arious

Operation HEAL*ARIOUS is a nationwide competition to find America’s Funniest Veterans & Military Spouses!  Charleston is the very last stop before the finale in Los Angeles on Nov 4th!!!
On October 27th, comedians will compete for the ticket to LA!  Ashley Gutermuth headlines. Portion of proceeds go to HEAL*ARIOUS, a therapeutic humor program for veterans and first responders.  More info about this program at https://www.healarious.org

Charleston Mimosa Festival

October 28, 2023 from 1-5 p.m. at Johnson Hagood Stadium at The Citadel (68 Hagood Ave, Charleston, SC 29403).

This 21+ event will feature mimosas, brunch punch, beer and wine. All beverage tastings are included in the ticket price (along with the souvenir cup guests will use to taste throughout the day) and food will be available for purchase. Guests can enjoy live music from the Jacob Poole Band and DJ B Folks as well as a silent disco.

Tickets are now on sale for $50, will increase to $55 after October 19 and will be $65 the day of the event. The first 500 tickets sold online will be only $40, so don’t delay!
