May 7: Declaration of Independence, Bat ID, Purina


CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – The Charleston Museum will display an original copy of the Declaration of Independence this summer.

According to the museum, the copy was printed in Charleston in 1776 by Huguenot descendant Peter Timothy. This copy brought the news of independence to the citizens of South Carolina 250 years ago.

The copy will be on display from May 30 to Aug. 30 at the Charleston Museum.
