IOP Wheelchairs

This year, the City of Isle of Palms launched a Beach Wheelchair Program to offer daily use of beach wheelchairs for residents and visitors at no charge.  Use of a beach wheelchair is on a first-come, first-serve basis. No reservations are taken.

Beach wheelchairs are available from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Public Safety Building, located at 30 J.C. Long Boulevard, Isle of Palms, SC 29451. They must be returned no later than 8:00 p.m. the day of the rental. The City does not pick up or deliver beach wheelchairs.
