Pay It Forward Charleston is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) charitable foundation. The Emergency Relief Fund supports those employed by or who own restaurants or bars or are employed by an industry supplier that are faced with unforeseen financial hardship. The organization stands with those in the food and beverage community and is committed to “serving those who serve us.”
Pay It Forward continues to provide financial support on-the-fly to workers of restaurants, bars, food service providers and industry suppliers, because we know how an unexpected expense or setback can change everything. Examples of need include an accident, illness, weather catastrophe, pregnancy, unexpected caregiving responsibilities, loss of an immediate family member or need for mental health support.
