La Nortena Mexican Grill, which has served the North Charleston community for over two decades, last week announced that Sunday, June 30th will be their last day of business.

The restaurant made the announcement on Instagram saying:

“Charleston, thank you for 21 amazing years together! From our humble beginnings on Remount Road to our move to Rivers Avenue, your support has meant everything to us. We owe a huge thanks to our loyal employees; without their dedication, we wouldn’t have been able to stay open for so long. We cherish the love you’ve shown us over the years, and our journey will continue until June 30th with our hours remaining unchanged:
