Splash Island Waterpark to host ‘Dog Day’
MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCBD) – Splash Island Waterpark in Mount Pleasant is hosting ‘Dog Day’ on August 15, 2026.
“Celebrate the dog days of summer with your four-legged best friend at the waterpark after the regular season ends. Dogs will have exclusive access to the kiddie pool and leisure pool for an afternoon of splashing and play,” Charleston County Parks said.
The park is hosting two sessions, one from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and one from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Space is limited, so purchasing tickets in advance is recommended.
The park says tickets cost $15 per dog in advance; $20 per dog at the gate, if available. Owners are free with their pets, and the regular park admission fee of $2 per person is included.
Swimming during ‘Dog Day’ is for dogs only, adults and children will not be allowed to enter the water past ankle depth.
