Bulldog Tours last week announced the launch of a brand new custom tour adventure created with kids in mind.
“Many of our history and ghost tours are enjoyed by families each day, but this is the first time we’ve created a unique way to experience Charleston that’s tailored to kids and families as a whole,” said Bulldog Tours’ owner, John Laverne.
Beau’s Charleston Adventure includes an illustrated scavenger hunt map with interactive questions and a custom-made plush bulldog, Beau, which can be purchased for $25.

Strawberry Poptart Cobbler
Ingredients:
1 large container strawberries
2 cans of strawberry filling
2 packages of roll & bake pie crust
Powdered sugar
Milk
Small container of sprinkles
**This can be made into a blueberry pop tart cobbler. Just replace the strawberry filling with blueberry filling & the strawberries with blueberries.*
directions:
1. Preheat your oven according to the pie crust package instructions.
2. Slice the strawberries and mix them with the strawberry filling in a large bowl.
3. Roll out the pie crust and place one layer in the bottom of your baking dish.
4. Pour the strawberry mixture over the bottom crust.
5. Top with the second pie crust layer, sealing the edges.
6. Bake according to the pie crust package instructions until golden brown.
7. While the cobbler is baking, mix powdered sugar and milk to create a glaze.
8. Once baked, drizzle the glaze over the cobbler and add sprinkles.
9. Let cool slightly before serving.

Red Lobster patrons can now order Flavor Flav’s Faves … a feast featuring a Maine lobster tail, snow crab legs, garlic shrimp scampi, bacon mac and cheese and a choice of side.
The order won’t be on Red Lobster’s printed menus, but diners can just ask their server for the Flavor Flav’s Fave meal — kinda like the famed “secret menu” items at In-N-Out.
