Your boring lunch from the deli just got a lot fancier . . .

TikTok’s new obsession is GLITTER PICKLES . . . or “glickles” for short.  (???)  A video on how to make them went viral last month, but a lot of people missed it over the holidays.  The hashtag “pretty pickles” is also trending.

They’re easy to make:  Just open a jar of pickles . . . dump a ton of edible glitter in there . . . and enjoy the fanciest pickle you’ve ever seen.

Later this month, you can once again eat and drink your way through Folly Beach’s culinary scene at the annual Taste of Folly festival. Attendees can enjoy a cocktail competition on Friday and then on Savory Saturday, they can enjoy live music, street vendors, competitions, and so much more.

Plus, guests can enjoy live music, 70+ art, craft, and fashion vendors, and a kids’ area. Tickets are $10 in advance or $15 at the gate. Free admission is available for Folly residents with valid driver’s licenses and kids 12 and under. Center Street will be closed from 7 am to 5:30 pm, but open to the public from 10 am to 4 pm.
