April 8: Fav Salad Recreated, Gardening, Trick from B’s Fabulous Nail Salon

Recreating Restaurant Favorites

I love the Grilled Romaine Salad at Sol Southwest Kitchen. I tried to recreate the salad at home and while it wasn’t as delicious as it is when my favorite bartender brings it over it to me with a beautiful glass of red wine, it was pretty darn good.

Gardening

It has brought me so much peace and calm during this crazy time. Whenever my anxiety starts to get a little high I go out in the garden and water, pick out leaves that have fallen in, talk to them, it really is relaxing.

Please ignore my Fred Flinstone Feet. Saw this on Pinterest– 1/4 cup of Listerine, 1/4 cup of vinegar, and 1/2 cup of warm water…soak your feet and in 15 min the dead skin will fall off!
