All across the Lowcountry, there are individuals who have made a contribution to the black community. In celebration of Black History Month, Mix 95.9 would like to recognize those people.

If you know someone who is a local Black History Maker, share their story. Whether it’s a teacher, neighbor, pastor, coach, even a friend or relative, we’d like you to tell us about that person. Every day in February, Star 99.7 will honor a different man or woman as part of Black History Month.

Simply submit:

  • A photo of the person you’re nominating
  • Full name, email address and phone number of the person you’re nominating
  • Your full name, email address and phone number
