Contest Rules:
These are the rules governing the “Red Rocks Train Flyaway” contest aired on Mix 95.9FM radio and on the mix959.com website, unless otherwise specified. In the following rules, “Mix 95.9FM” means Charleston Radio Group, which owns Mix 95.9FM radio:
Red Rocks Train Flyaway – Official Contest Rules
WMXZ Mix 95.9 listeners 21 and over may enter the “Jump on a Plane to See Train” Flyaway at www.mix959.com by providing information, including but not limited to, full name, home address, date of birth, email address, and phone number between Monday, 12 am eastern time on June 13, 2022, and Friday, 11:59 pm eastern time on June 24, 2022, to win a trip for two (2) to see Train perform in Denver, Colorado at Red Rocks Amphitheatre on Saturday, August 6, 2022. No purchase necessary. One entry per person. Submitting more than one entry per person will invalidate all entries by that contestant. Any attempt by any participant to obtain more than the stated number of entries allowed by using the same, multiple/different email addresses, identities, or any other methods void that participant’s entries, and that participant may be disqualified. in the event of a dispute as to any online registration, the authorized account holder of the e-mail address used to register will be deemed to be the registrant and he/she must be eligible according to these official rules. No mechanically reproduced or automated entries permitted. Use of any automated system to participate is prohibited and will result in disqualification and all such entries will be deemed void. The winner will be chosen at the sole discretion of Mix 95.9, Charleston Radio Group, and its ultimate parent company, Saga Communications, Inc.
The Grand Prize winner will be randomly chosen from among all qualified entries. We will list all participating stations (13), then go to random.org and choose a random number from 1-13. The station that is listed as that number will be the winning station. Then, we will have a representative from that participating station conduct a random draw from all station entries to determine the grand prize winner at approximately 9:00 am local time on Monday, June 27, 2022. The Grand Prize winner will be contacted by phone on Monday, June 27, 2022, to confirm the Grand Prize details. The winner’s name and city of residence will be posted online at www.mix959.com and may be shared on Mix 95.9 social media accounts. The winner must confirm their full name, date of birth, phone number, gender, social security number, and email address along with their guest’s full name, date of birth, phone number, gender, and email address with Crush Music for travel accommodations. The Grand Prize consists of: Two (2) tickets to see Train perform in Denver, Colorado at Red Rocks Amphitheatre on Saturday, August 6, 2022, valued at $180.00; round trip coach airfare for two (2) from Charleston, SC to Denver, CO, valued from $800.00-$1400.00 based on departure location and demand; and two (2) nights’ hotel accommodations for two (2), valued from $500.00 – $600.00 based on demand. The winner and their guest will depart for Denver, CO on Saturday, 08/06/2022 and return on Sunday, 08/07/2022. The total approximate retail value of the Grand Prize ranges from $1500.00 – $2200.00 based on location departure/destination and demand. All details will be determined by Crush Music.
This contest is being conducted concurrently and simultaneously with radio stations owned by Saga Communications, Inc. in the following markets: WSNY and WVMX in Columbus, OH; WMXZ in Charleston, SC; WMQR in Harrisonburg, VA; WCVQ in Clarksville, TN; WVSC in Hilton Head, SC; WZID in Manchester, ME; WKNE and WSNI in Keene, NH; WOXL in Asheville, NC; KAFE in Bellingham, WA; KJBX in Jonesboro, AR; and KSTZ in Des Moines, IA. Listeners of said stations will then be competing to win the same Grand Prize.
We will make reasonable efforts to award the Grand Prize within 30 days after the winner is chosen. The Grand Prize winner and guest must be able to travel between 08/06/2022 and 08/07/2022 or an alternate winner may be randomly chosen. The winner will be responsible for providing ground transportation in the departing and arriving cities. The winner will be responsible for any applicable federal and state taxes as well as all fees and incidentals and complete an IRS Form W-9. Incidentals include but are not limited to unpaid room service charges, phone charges, movies, ground transportation, etc. This, and all other expenses will be the responsibility of the winner.
The Grand Prize may be claimed at the radio station located at 2294 Clements Ferry Road, Charleston, SC 29492 between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm Monday through Friday. Mix 95.9 sole responsibility will be to award the prize and will have no further responsibility in connection with the prize if the prize winner, for any reason, cannot or decides not to use the prize. Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash.
The winner and their guest will need to follow all COVID guidelines and protocols put into place by the concert/venue organizer.

Mix 95.9 and the Charleston Radio Group and its ultimate parent company, Saga Communications, Inc. have no responsibility if the airline cancels or delays flights caused by mechanical problems, inclement weather, acts of God, etc.
Mix 95.9 contests are open to all eligible “Lowcountry”, SC residents 21 or older in the broadcast listening area that have not won anything in the past 30 days, or any prize valued at $600 or more in the past 6 months. Only one (1) winner per household is permitted within 30 days after a household has a winner. Any prize awarded to an ineligible listener will be deemed null and void, and an alternate eligible winner may be named.
Employees of Mix 95.9, the Charleston Radio Group, and its ultimate parent company, Saga Communications, Inc., their advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, employees and immediate families of each, and employees of all media of mass communication within a one-hundred-mile radius of the main studios are not eligible to win any contest. Immediate family includes the spouse, great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of the employee and his/her spouse. This also includes individuals for whom the employee is current legal guardian.
