Each Monday through Thursday, listen at just after 8AM, 11AM, 1PM and 5PM to hear the Designer Closet winning keyword. Text that word to 77000 and you’re automatically entered to win. The more different keywords you text, the better your chance to win. Each Friday morning, we’ll randomly select that week’s Designer Closet winner.

Contest Rules:

These are the rules governing the “Designer Closet” contest aired on WMXZ-FM/Mix 95.9FM, WCKN-FM/92.5 Kickin’ Country, 101.7 Chuck-FM/WAVF-FM, Star 99.7, WXST-FM, 99.3 The Box/WMXZ-HD2 and Heaven 1390/WSPO-AM radio and on the mix959.com, 925kickincountry.com, 1017chuckfm.com, star997.com, 993thebox.com and heavenradiofm.com websites, unless otherwise specified.  All Charleston Radio Group stations will be participating in this promotion.  Listeners can participate, and win, by listening to any of the Charleston Radio Group stations.

1. No purchase is necessary to enter the “Designer Closet” contest.
2. You must be at least 18 years of age to enter and win.
3. Beginning Monday, September 20, 2021 at 8:00AM and continuing through Thursday, October 7, 2021 at 11:59PM, listeners will have the opportunity to win a weekly “Designer Closet” prize package.  Each week’s prize package includes a different designer purse and a pair of high-end shoes.

Week One:  a pair of Christian Louboutin So Spike Leather Sandals, valued at $895 from Sony/Columbia Records, and a Coach Beat Shoulder bag valued at $550.00 from Republic Records, awarded on Friday, September 24, 2021

Week Two:  a pair of Agneska Scallop Leather Red Sole High Heel Pumps valued at $695, and a Christian Louboutin Cabata Empire Leather Spike Mini Tote Bag valued at $850, both from Capitol Nashville, to be awarded Friday, October 1, 2021

Week Three:  A pair of Cassidy cowgirl boots from Lucchese, valued at $495.00 and a Tory Burch Fleming Convertible Leather Shoulder Bag, valued at $528 to be awarded on Friday, October 8, 2021

1. A keyword will be announced on all six Charleston Radio Group stations each Monday through Thursday at or just after 8:00AM, 11:00AM, 1:00PM and 5:00PM during the contest period.  To enter to win, an individual must text that word to 77000.  Standard data and message rates may apply.  There is no limit as to the number of times an individual may text each keyword.   Participants will have until 11:59PM that day to submit the specific keyword(s).     Listeners from all six Charleston Radio Group stations will be competing for the same prize package.
2. Each Friday during the contest period – September 24, October 1, and October 8, 2021 – at approximately 9AM, one (1) winner will be randomly selected from all eligible texts received from listeners of all six (6) Charleston Radio Group.  The winner will be contact by phone and/or e-mail within 7 hours of being selected.    We will make 3 attempts to contact the winner.   If he/she has not responded within 48 hours, a second winner will be selected in a random drawing.    The procedure will continue until a winner is selected and responds to being contacted.
3. Winners will need to provide the Charleston Radio Group their women’s shoe size upon being certified as an eligible winner.  It’s at that time the shoes and the designer purse will be ordered and shipped directly to the contest winner’s home address.  Winners should allow 6-8 weeks for delivery depending on the retailer’s approximate delivery date.  A gift receipt will be provided to the contest winner should an exchange for a different size be necessary.   The winner will be required to provide their Social Security number for tax purposes as the information will be reported to the I.R.S. by the record label partner providing the designer shoes.

7. To be eligible to win any prize on Mix 95.9FM you must not have won anything on Mix 95.9FM in the past 30 days or any prize valued at $600 or more in the past 6 months. Only one winner per household is permitted within 30 days after a household has a winner. Any prize awarded to an ineligible listener will be deemed null and void, and an alternate eligible winner may be named.
8. Anytime you call the Mix 95.9FM studios you assume that your call will be broadcast or recorded and you grant us permission to broadcast the call or record it for later broadcast.
9. As a winner of a Mix 95.9FM contest your voice, name and/or picture may be used for promotional, broadcast, or internet purposes without any compensation to you.
10. Prizes awarded are not redeemable for cash. No prize is transferable. No substitution for a prize will be made at the request of winner. Mix 95.9FM reserves the right to substitute a prize of similar value.

1. WMXZ’s sole responsibility will be to award the prize. WMXZ will have no further responsibility in connection with the prize if the prize winner, for any reason, cannot or decides not to use any of the prize.

12. All winners of all contests are responsible for all taxes on prize awarded. All winners of a prize valued at $600 or more will be required to complete the appropriate tax forms at the Mix 95.9FM studios prior to claiming prize. All winners will be sent a 1099 MISC federal tax form if in one calendar year the prize value of all prizes won exceeds $600.
13. In the event the winner is subject to or the subject of any order or legal process issued by any governmental agency having jurisdiction over the affairs of the winner (i.e. garnishment, child support order, judgment, lien, and the like), Mix 95.9FM’s delivery of the prize to the official representative of the governmental entity claiming a right to the prize shall be thus deemed as (Mix 95.9FM) awarding the prize to the winner. Mix 95.9FM shall be entitled to rely in good faith, upon any documents presented by the representative seeking to collect the prize in lieu of the winner. Mix 95.9FM shall not be liable for any claim by any winner for damages incidental thereto.

15. All Mix 95.9FM contests are open to all eligible residents 18 or over (unless otherwise specified) living within 75 miles of station transmitter(s). Contestants must possess a valid form of identification bearing the picture of the contestant acceptable to Mix 95.9FM that will be presented to Mix 95.9FM and accepted before the prize is awarded. Employees of Mix 95.9FM, it’s advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, employees and immediate families of each, and employees of all media of mass communication within a one-hundred mile radius of the Mix 95.9FM main studio are not eligible to win any contest. Immediate family includes the spouse, great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of the employee and his/her spouse. This also includes individuals for whom the employee is current legal guardian.  All contest rules are available online at www.mix959.com/contests.
16. Winners will be expected to claim prize at the Mix 95.9FM studios, 2294 Clements Ferry Road Charleston, SC 29492, between 9:00am – 5:00pm, Monday through Friday (excluding holidays) within 30 days of being notified that they are winners, unless there is an expiration date on prize, which will be specifically stated.
17. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. Contest is void where prohibited.
18. Mix 95.9FM reserves the right to disqualify any entrant if any contest rules are violated in any way.
19. Mix 95.9FM assumes no liability for situations, repairs, or incidents arising from any aspect of any prize awarded in any contest. Mix 95.9FM, its advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, employees, and immediate families of each are absolved and shall be held harmless from any action or liability arising from any contest or prize awarded in any contest.
20. As a licensee of the FCC and a trustee of the public airwaves, Mix 95.9FM reserves the right to interrupt and/or discontinue any contest or promotion (and not award the offered prize) at the discretion of Mix 95.9FM management if world events, the national mood, or public safety so warrant.
21. Mix 95.9FM reserves the right to amend the rules to any contest at any time. Mix 95.9FM’s decision is always final. In the event any one of the general contest rules which govern all Mix 95.9FM contests contradict with any specific contest term, the specific contest term will control.
22. For any contest requiring phone entry you must use only the following number unless otherwise specified: (843) 972-1100. For texting it is 77000. The person operating the telephone at Mix 95.9FM has the final decision as to who is the winning caller.
23. Mix 95.9FM shall have no responsibility for contestant’s inability or failure to participate, failure to win or claim any prize based on malfunction or difficulties with telephone, cell phone, texting, email, or internet access, or any other circumstances in any contest beyond Mix 95.9FM’s control.
24. For any contest involving on-line voting: If an entrant receives irregular votes, including but not limited to, votes generated by a robotic, programmed, script, macro, or other automated means, Mix 95.9FM reserves the right to disqualify the entrant in its sole discretion and/or use another means to determine the winner(s), ex. – random selection or appointing a panel of judges.
25. Mix 95.9FM is not responsible for Internet crashes or slowdowns caused by network congestion, viruses, sabotage, satellite failures, phone line failures, electrical outages, natural disasters or act of man or God, lost, late, misdirected, postage-due, unintelligible, returned, undelivered entries or email, or lost, interrupted or unavailable satellite, network, server, Internet Service Provider (ISP), website, or other connections availability, accessibility or traffic congestion, miscommunications, failed computer, network, telephone, satellite or cable hardware or software or lines, or technical failure, or jumbled, scrambled, delayed or misdirected transmissions, computer hardware or software malfunctions, failures or difficulties, or other errors of any kind whether human, mechanical, electronic, or network. Persons who tamper with or abuse any aspect of this contest or website, or act in violation of the official service, as solely determined by the station, will be disqualified. Neither sponsor nor promotion parties are responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information whether caused by website users, tampering, hacking, or by any of the programming or equipment associated with or used in this contest, and assumes no responsibility for any errors, omissions, deletion, interruption or delay in operation or transmission or communication line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized website access. Mix 95.9FM is not responsible for injury or damage to participant’s or any other person’s computer or property related to or resulting from participating in this contest. Should any portion of contest be, in Mix 95.9FM’s sole opinion, compromised by virus, worms, bugs, unauthorized human intervention or other causes which, in the sole opinion of the station, corrupt or impair administration, security, fairness or proper play of this contest, or contest plays, Mix 95.9FM reserves the right at its sole discretion to suspend, modify or terminate the contest.

Mix 95.9FM has not made nor is in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation, or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to any prize, including but not limited to its quality, mechanical condition or fitness for a particular purpose. Any and all warranties and/or guarantees on prize (if any) are provided only by the manufacturer, and winners agree to look solely to such manufacturers for any such warranty and/or guarantee.
