Contest Rules
Beginning at 6:00 am Monday, February 24, 2020 through 11:59 pm Sunday, March 8, 2020, Mix 95.9 FM listeners will have the chance to win a trip for two to Brooklyn, New York and two tickets to see Niall Horan & Lewis Capaldi in concert at Barclays Center on  Wednesday, April 29, 2020.

Participants will need to listen to 95.9 Monday through Sunday during contest period at or around 7:00 am, 11:00 am, 1:00 pm, 3:00 pm & 5:00 pm for the designated contest “sounder” and send a direct/private message to the Mix 95.9 Facebook page that says “PICK ME”.  One (1) grand prize winner will be chosen at random from all correct and eligible entries to win the Brooklyn, NY trip for two.

The grand prize trip includes roundtrip airfare for two from Charleston, SC to one of the New York city metropolitan airports, two night’s hotel accommodations, and two concert tickets.  Approximate retail value of the trip is $1,500.00 according to Capital Records.  Capital Records is providing the prize.

Players may enter as many times as they’d like to increase their chances of winning.  Any entry on behalf of another individual or using another person’s name or email address is disqualified and ineligible to win any prize. The contest is open to those who hold a valid article of state-issued identification or a valid Military ID and are 18 years of age or older. Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash. Packages cannot be transferred if the winner is unable to attend. Winners will be responsible for state and federal taxes. Fees and incidentals are not included.   No purchase is necessary.

WMXZ contests are open to all eligible South Carolina residents 18 or older have not won anything on WMXZ in the past 30 days or any prize valued at $600 or more in the past 6 months. Only one winner per household is permitted within 30 days after a household has a winner. Any prize awarded to an ineligible listener will be deemed null and void, and an alternate eligible winner may be named.

Employees of WMXZ, Charleston Radio Group, and its ultimate parent company, Saga Communications, Inc., their advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, employees and immediate families of each, and employees of all media of mass communication within a one hundred mile radius of the WMXZ main studio are not eligible to win any contest. Immediate family includes the spouse, great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of the employee and his/her spouse. This also includes individuals for whom the employee is current legal guardian.
