Contest Rules

Beginning 12:00 noon Friday, December 20, 2019 through 11:59 pm Sunday, January 12, 2020, Mix 95.9 FM listeners will be invited to enter for a chance to win a trip for two Chicago, IL from Interscope Records.  Trip includes roundtrip airfare for two from Charleston, SC to Chicago, two nights hotel accommodations, and two general admission tickets to the Maroon 5 concert on Saturday, June 13, 2020 at Wrigley Field.   Winner is responsible for any additional expenses.

One (1) grand prize winner will be chosen at random to win the trip to Chicago, IL.   Approximate retail value of the prize is $1,500.00 and is provided by Interscope Records.   Winner will be notified will be notified no later than 5:00 pm on Friday, January 17, 2020.  Three attempts will be made to connect with winner; if no connection is made alternate winner will be chosen at random.

One entry per person. Any entry on behalf of another individual or using another person’s name or email address is disqualified and ineligible to win any prize. The contest is open to those who hold a valid article of state-issued identification or a valid Military ID and are 18 years of age or older. Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash. Packages cannot be transferred if the winner is unable to attend. Winners will be responsible for state and federal taxes. Fees and incidentals are not included.   No purchase is necessary.

WMXZ contests are open to all eligible South Carolina residents 18 or older have not won anything on WMXZ in the past 30 days or any prize valued at $600 or more in the past 6 months. Only one winner per household is permitted within 30 days after a household has a winner. Any prize awarded to an ineligible listener will be deemed null and void, and an alternate eligible winner may be named.

Employees of WMXZ, Charleston Radio Group, and its ultimate parent company, Saga Communications, Inc., their advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, employees and immediate families of each, and employees of all media of mass communication within a one hundred mile radius of the WMXZ main studio are not eligible to win any contest. Immediate family includes the spouse, great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of the employee and his/her spouse. This also includes individuals for whom the employee is current legal guardian.
