Contest Rules

Beginning March 13, 2019 through March 31, 2019 at 11pm log onto www.Mix959.com to register for a chance to win four (4) race registrations for the Cooper River Bridge Run which will take place April 6, 2019. Prize value $220.

The winner will be randomly selected from the entries and will be notified by phone on April 1, 2019. Winner will be chosen at random by an employee of Charleston Radio Group using the SecondStreet platform. If we are unable to reach the winner after 5 attempts, then we will randomly select another winner.

The contest is open to those who hold a valid article of state issued identification or have a valid Military ID. No purchase necessary. Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash. Packages cannot be transferred if the winner is unable to attend. Winners will be responsible for state and federal taxes. Fees and incidentals are not included.

WMXZ contests are open to all eligible South Carolina residents who are 21 and over and have not won anything on WMXZ in the past 30 days or any prize valued at $600 or more in the past 6 months. Only one winner per household is permitted within 30 days after a household has a winner. Any prize awarded to an ineligible listener will be deemed null and void, and an alternate eligible winner may be named.

Employees of WMXZ, Charleston Radio Group, Saga Quad States Communications, LLC., and its ultimate parent company, Saga Communications, Inc., their advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, employees and immediate families of each, and employees of all media of mass communication within a one hundred mile radius of the WMXZ main studio are not eligible to win any contest. Immediate family includes the spouse, great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of the employee and his/her spouse. This also includes individuals for whom the employee is current legal guardian.
