Official Contest Rules

Beginning June 4, 2018 through June 15, 2018 Mix 95.9 listeners will have two chances to win the grand prize of two of tickets to see Niall Horan perform in Charlotte at the PNC Arena on September 29, 2018 as well as two backstage/meet & greet passes and one night’s hotel accommodation for two people in Charlotte. To qualify to win, listen to WMXZ Mix 95.9 weekday mornings at 7:10am and be the 9th local caller at 843-375-0959. The 9th caller will win a free CD of the Niall Horan album and be qualified for the grand prize drawing.

The grand prize winner will be randomly selected from the qualified download winners and will be announced on the Mix 95.9 Two Girls & A Guy morning show on Monday morning June 18, 2018 between 9:00 am and 10:00 am. The grand prize winner will be contacted by phone. If we are unable to reach the winner after 5 attempts then we will randomly select another winner.

The Charlotte grand prize trip to see Niall Horan is worth approximately $500. The CD value is approximately $15. The contest is open to those who hold a valid article of South Carolina identification and are 18 years of age or older or valid Military ID. No purchase necessary. Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash. Winner must have a valid credit card for hotel incidentals. Winners will be responsible for state and federal taxes.

WMXZ contests are open to all eligible South Carolina residents 18 or older have not won anything on WMXZ in the past 30 days or any prize valued at $600 or more in the past 6 months. Only one winner per household is permitted within 30 days after a household has a winner. Any prize awarded to an ineligible listener will be deemed null and void, and an alternate eligible winner may be named.

Employees of WMXZ, Charleston Radio Group, and its ultimate parent company, Saga Communications, Inc., their advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, employees and immediate families of each, and employees of all media of mass communication within a one hundred mile radius of the WMXZ main studio are not eligible to win any contest. Immediate family includes the spouse, great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of the employee and his/her spouse. This also includes individuals for whom the employee is current legal guardian.
